Randolph A. Marks

Mr. Marks is a founding Member of Marks & Williams, LLC, an Atlanta area law firm engaged exclusively in real estate law. Marks & Williams, LLC has offices in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, and in the Johns Creek development in Atlanta's northern metropolitan area.

Mr. Marks obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida in 1978, and his J.D. (with honors) from the University of Florida in 1981, where he served on the Board of Editors of the University of Florida Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Team.

After practicing for two years in the corporate department at Kilpatrick & Cody, Mr. Marks took a position as an associate attorney at Scoggins, Ivy, Goodman & Weiss. At that firm, he represented commercial real estate developers in all phases of the acquisition, financing, leasing, management and sale of real estate, as well as lending institutions. He also represented commercial landlords in connection with lease negotiations for office, retail and industrial space.

Mr. Marks opened his own practice in March, 1989, and as a solo practitioner represented local industrial, office and residential developers, as well as national companies with real estate interests in the Atlanta area. His practice continued to include office, retail and industrial leasing, for landlords and tenants, as well as joint venture and partnership matters for his clients.

Mr. Marks has continued his commercial real estate practice since co-founding Marks & Williams, LLC in January, 1997.
