Mr. Williams is a founding member of Marks & Williams, LLC.  Mr. Williams obtained his B.A. in Philosophy in 1977 from Lawrence Unitversity in Appleton, Wisconsin, and his J.D. in 1980 from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.  After graduating from law school, Mr. Williams served as in-house counsel for the Atlanta Real Estate Investments office of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.  In that position, he represented the company in connection with their acquistion, management, leasing and sale equity investments and management of real estate loans in the Southeastern United States.  These  investments included regional malls, major office buildings and business centers.  Mr. Williams left Metroplitan to practice in the real estate section of Elrod & Thompson, P.C. in Atlana where he continued his work in the area of commercial real estate.  Mr. Williams left Elrod & Thompson, P.C. in 1997 to join with Randolph Marks to form Marks & Williams, LLC.
